When are lessons times available?
Lessons are made available Monday - Fridays, after school into the early evening as well as Saturdays during the day.
Where are lessons held?
All lessons are held at my studio in Canyon, TX.
What is the process for Bad Weather on lesson days?
If inclement weather becomes an issue on a scheduled lesson day, a decision will be made with keeping all parties safe.
**INSTEAD, a virtual lesson will be held via whichever avenue is easiest. ZOOM, Google Meet, Facebook Messenger Video or Skype.
Will lessons still occur during Thanksgiving Break, Christmas breaks and Spring Break?
During Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring breaks, a lesson time will be made available for those in town and wanting a lesson.
How often are lessons?
Lessons are held 1x a week - usually on the same day. If there is something that will interfere with your scheduled lesson time, I will communicate ahead of time to find a suitable replacement time that week. Parents of young students/Students are expected to do the same in order to keep the lessons consistent. If you know of a graduation, meeting, recital, performance, etc. that will interfere, please let me know ahead of time and we will find a time that works around it!
CONSISTENCY = SUCCESS
Wells Music Studio cannot operate successfully when lessons are considered as an afterthought. Your child will see the dedication to the lesson time and it will always positively affect their practice & lesson time.
What about lessons during the summer?
Lessons Do Continue in the Summer! Taking 3 months of from lessons is NOT a good idea to keep the progress going.
Often, I will have more time in the summer and have made more time for extra group lessons in the summer. STUDENTS LOVE THIS!!! We have SO MUCH FUN!
How and when are lesson payments due?
Payments for each month are due on the 1st of the month.
Invoices will be sent on the 25th of the month for the following month.
Payments can be made via Cash, Check, Venmo or Zelle.
How much to lessons cost?
Each student is set up for a different time, based on age, instrument and over-all attention span.
This information will be discussed and a total per month given.
*Tuition is based on 48 lessons out of the 52 week year, then divided equally by 12. Some months you will have more lessons based on the calendar and others will have less because of sickness/family vacation/holidays. This will all be built in to the tuition.
***TUITION keeps your/your students place on the studio roster.
Wells Music Studio does not do a pay by the lesson structure.
